Deluxe Illustrated Novelization of Rose Coming in November!

To celebrate the return of showrunner Russell T Davies to Doctor Who, a special deluxe edition of ROSE will be published this autumn. Novelized by Russell from his original script, ROSE is the story that relaunched Doctor Who for the 21st century.

Originally published in 2018, this deluxe edition of ROSE features illustrations from acclaimed artist Robert Hack. It is set to publish on 23rd November 2023, to coincide with Doctor Who's 60th anniversary.

The Underwater Menace Comes to DVD in November!

   

The Second Doctor’s partially missing adventure will be animated with four new episodes in color and high definition, releasing on DVD and Blu-ray.

BBC Studios continues to offer Doctor Who fans the opportunity to extend their at home collection by announcing the latest release DOCTOR WHO: THE UNDERWATER MENACE on DVD and Blu-Ray. The two-disc box set contains the fourth series story as well as special features. This classic series stars the Second Doctor Patrick Troughton and co-stars Anneke Wills as Polly, Michael Craze as Ben and Frazer Hines as Jamie McCrimmon. 

The original 1967 master recordings of all except episodes two and three of THE UNDERWATER MENACE were lost soon after the programme's original transmission. However, audio-only recordings of the missing two episodes have survived and have been used to create a brand new fully animated presentation of this lost classic.

This story sees these characters navigate through their adventures in the underwater city of Atlantis where they meet with Professor Zaroff, who plots to destroy the Earth by draining the oceans. Fans can expect a super jam-packed series bursting with unseen exclusive content. All episodes have been animated in colour and black and white, whilst including original film elements.

Doctor Who Comes to Magic The Gathering!

You may not be a gamer but if you like great Doctor Who art you'll want to check out the next Universes Beyond set from Wizards of the Coast! Doctor Who is coming to the popular collectible card game Magic The Gathering starting in July with a First Look at this cool card set.

This special card set features various different Doctors, locations and more combined with the gameplay of Magic the Gathering. Four special Commander Decks will be released along with a set of cards that can be purchased through booster packs. This set is a limited edition set so you will want to buy it quickly before it disappears!

The set will debut on October 3rd and launch on October 13th. Be sure and check with your local game store to see if they are going to have any special events to tie into the release of the Doctor Who set!
